About "Little" Zoe

Meet the Author

Ama Darkwa Holmes is a wife, mother, educator and a lifelong learner. She is a first-generation immigrant from Ghana, West Africa and at 6 years old she and her family moved to America to pursue educational opportunities and a better life. Throughout her childhood, her family and other adults in her life guided and encouraged her to learn, believe in herself, always try her best, and always have courage. As she got older, she began to permit herself to dream big and to set and pursue her goals by consistently seeking knowledge, learning from others and learning from her mistakes.

Today, Ama is an educator and an entrepreneur who feels fortunate to have the opportunity to pay forward her many blessings. She loves writing books with important messages, morals and lessons for children and she diligently seeks opportunities to serve and inspire children everywhere. Her vision is that they too will realize their very own power and potential.
